・洗濯物＝laundry
・「hang the laundry out」は、「洗濯物を外に干す」という定番表現
・「hang out the laundry」 も間違いではないが、「hang the laundry out」 の語順の方がネイティブでよく使われる

I hung the laundry inside.

・hung は hang の過去形だが、「干してある状態」を表すときにも自然に使われる。
※ 厳密には過去の動作を表しているが、その結果として現在の状態も自然に伝わる。

I am folding the laundry.

「床に座って」という情報も伝えたいなら、I’m folding the laundry while sitting on the floor.
といえるが、普通はわざわざ言わない
